On 31 March 2026, Ministry of Health issued a press release on a case of bird flu in a 3-year-old boy in Oddar Meanchey Province.

The Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia would like to inform the public that there is 1 case of bird flu in a 3-year-old boy who was confirmed to be positive for the H5N1 avian influenza virus on March 29, 2026 by the National Institute of Public Health.
